Position Summary:
The **Director, FP&A Operations** , is a strategic finance leader who will serve as a key integrator across the Omnicell organization—connecting financial planning with enterprise-wide strategy. This role requires a broad organizational view and the ability to synthesize complex inputs into a unified financial narrative that supports executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a strategic thought partner to the finance leadership team, helping to translate business strategy into financial outcomes.
+ Consolidate financial insights across multiple business units to create a cohesive, enterprise-level financial story.
+ Support M&A activities by providing financial diligence and integration insights across the portfolio.
+ Act as a bridge between finance and legal teams to align investment decisions with compliance and risk considerations.
+ Leverage tools like Power BI and Oracle to extract, visualize, and communicate financial data effectively.
+ Represent finance in cross-functional forums, ensuring alignment between operational execution and long-range planning.
+ Coordinate the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes across business units.
+ Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario analysis.
+ Drive the development of KPI dashboards, monthly reporting packages, and variance analysis to support executive management.
+ Partner across operations, supply chain, legal, and business leadership to align financial plans with strategic priorities and operational realities.
+ Lead initiatives to optimize FP&A processes and systems, improving automation, accuracy, and timeliness.
+ Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
+ Ensure alignment with corporate finance policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
+ 8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance operations, ideally with exposure to both corporate and business-unit-level planning.
+ At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing FP&A teams or operations.
+ Strong knowledge of financial planning systems (e.g., Oracle Hyperion/Essbase, NetSuite, or SAP).
+ Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
+ Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
+ Experience in FP&A consolidation or finance PMO roles is highly valued.
+ Familiarity with cost accounting, supply chain finance, or operational finance processes is a plus.
+ Ability to “see the forest through the trees” and distill complex data into strategic insights.
