    Job Description

    **Location** : Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania ( _preferred_ ); Rahway, New Jersey

    **Employee Status** : Regular Full Time

    A part of the Ethics and Compliance Organization (ECO), the Compliance Program Oversight team (the “Team”) designs and helps implement our company’s global compliance program, including compliance standards and processes (collectively, the “Program”). The Program is designed to mitigate enterprise risk and to empower employees and business partners to act with integrity while fulfilling our company’s mission of helping to improve and save lives.

     

    Reporting to a Director of the Team, the Associate Director supports the implementation and maintenance of the Program. The Associate Director has experience with pharmaceutical industry compliance programs, is comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, and has experience with implementation of right-sized compliance policies, controls, and processes and the importance of assessing and mitigating risk using automation and data.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

    Scope

    + **Third Party Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption Due Diligence** – Support ongoing operation and improvement of policies, systems and processes for Third-Party Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption Due Diligence.

    + **Individual Level of Influence Due Diligence** – Support ongoing operation and improvement of policies, systems and processes for Individual Level of Influence Due Diligence.

    + **Other Global Compliance Policies** – Support development, maintenance, implementation, and appropriate oversight of select global compliance policies applicable to multiple divisions.

    + **Regional Compliance Support** – Provide ongoing guidance and support to markets and regions related to the Program.

    Core Functions

    + Assist with implementation of the Program through iterative assessment and a mindset of constant improvement.

    + Support use, operation and improvement of anti-bribery anti-corruption due diligence systems and processes.

    + Create supporting materials for in-scope compliance policies and controls to support effective implementation of the policies through socialization and training.

    + Help identify areas to improve through process automation and simplification and use available data to enhance our ability to identify and mitigate emerging risks.

    + Collaborate with other risk functions (Global Procurement, Corruption Risk Monitoring, ECO Operations, Audit (MCAAS), International Legal & Compliance; Global Investigations) to support and enhance the Program.

    + Provide guidance and support to key stakeholders in markets and regions.

    + Contribute to the development of a strong inclusive team that fosters developmental growth.

    Required Education:

    + Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts

    Required Experience and Skills:

    + 3+ years legal or risk compliance experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)

    + Global compliance experience (anti-bribery/anti-corruption risk experience a plus.)

    + Strong written and oral communication and influence skills

    + General knowledge and experience with laws, regulations, and compliance policies guiding the conduct of multi-national pharmaceutical companies, including global anti-corruption policies.

    + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups and stakeholders

    + Experience with cross-functional implementation of compliance policies and controls

    + Presentation experience in individual or group situations

    + Ability to problem-solve complex issues

    + Pragmatic and solution oriented

    + Ability to apply knowledge to real world situations

    + Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts clearly

    + Strong judgment and decision-making skills related to compliance related topics

    The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

    Expected US salary range:

    $126,500.00 - $199,100.00
