    The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities. This role ensures the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of prescription drugs and other goods. The ideal candidate will lead a team, optimize processes, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain accurate inventory records.

     

    This position will be responsible for all warehouse/dock services, such as shipping and receiving, mail/package deliveries, warehousing, pharmacy, and general office supplies inventory.

     

    In addition, this position will provide a safe and secure work environment, emphasizing the protection of people, property, and products, as well as warehouse/dock safety.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Manage warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely shipping, receiving and inventory management of high volume dispensing pharmacy

    + Coordinate and assist with weekly/monthly pharmacy inventory counts

    + Reconcile inventory discrepancies to physical count

    + Participate in client meetings as necessary in regards to inventory/ordering/warehouse management

    + Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities/personnel as well as making staffing decisions to meet business needs

    + Responsible for reporting metrics to staff and upper management on a regular basis

    + Assist with developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures to accommodate the specific needs of all product inventories

    + Monitor and report on KPI’s internally and with clients as needed

    + Generate and analyze reporting and data to ensure process efficiencies, order accuracy and inventory levels

    + Provide constructive feedback to team to improve overall performance and continue developing employee growth

    + Coordinate with clients/3PL Inventory Services to order/receive medication

    + Work with Warehouse Supervisor and Fulfillment/Shipping teams to make sure to maintain stock in pharmacy areas

    + Coordinate and assist with outside pharmacy audits

    + Work with Quality and Compliance teams to develop and hold pharmacy to GXP and DSCSA standards

    + Oversee manufacturer product recalls and returning quarantined product

    + Train on Pharmacy Automation calibration and maintenance

    + Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and security

    + Conduct regular inspections to maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of the facility

    + Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

    + Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance and safe usage

    + Respond promptly to warehouse issues and resolve employee or operational concerns

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Direct supervision of warehouse employees and warehouse supervisors.

    + Fulfills supervisory responsibilities per the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    + Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, coaching/mentoring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; professional development; disciplinary actions; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

    Requirements

    + High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field preferred

    + 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

    + 1-3 years in pharmacy setting preferred

    + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    + Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software

    + Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)

    + Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices

    EXPERIENCE:

    + 2 years of experience in managing people in a warehouse environment.

    + Minimum 1 year of prior experience with dock equipment.
