Job Description:

+ Complete given cases/assignments

+ Order an exam and identify the total risk

+ Experience looking at prescription history and reviewing medical records

+ Screen medication data for life insurance applications

+ Analyze high risk medications

+ Assessment of adverse health information relating to classification of risk

+ Screen life insurance applications for selection of standard and substandard risks

+ Evaluate health information received with add-ons and reinstatements

+ MIB code reporting and interpretation of MIB code data

+ All duties require identification of medical terminology

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Must have 2-5+ years of Life Underwriter experience

+ Experience working signing authorities over $100k

+ Experience with underwriting Manuals and tools

+ Fully Underwritten Products - not automated

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $32.00/hr.
