    Description

    We are seeking a Systems Engineer/Admin with a good understanding of Linux and scripting to support system enrollment, provisioning, and triage. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu or Red Hat), Bash, Python, and automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and modifying scripts, ensuring seamless integration of systems into our platform, and supporting a team in system troubleshooting and documentation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • System Enrollment: Assist in onboarding and provisioning large computing clusters, verifying system data, updating files, and ensuring proper enrollment into the platform.

    • Scripting & Automation: Modify and optimize existing scripts, ensuring seamless execution for system integration. Utilize Bash, Python, and YAML scripting along with tools like Ansible and Jenkins.

    • Provisioning & System Triage: Conduct deep system diagnostics, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure all systems are configured for user access.

    • Linux Engineering: Work extensively with Ubuntu and other Linux distributions; familiarity with Red Hat certification is a plus.

    • Documentation & Process Optimization: Maintain updated records of system enrollment processes, scripting modifications, and solutions for common engineering challenges.

    • Collaboration & Support: Act as a resource for team inquiries, providing guidance on current processes and system configurations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.00/hr.
