• Special Education Teacher (Sped)

    Health Advocates Network is seeking a **Special Education Teacher (SPED)** to work at a Facility in **Greenwood, SC.** This is a registry position with our company.

     

    **Pay Rate:** $50 / hour

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities

    + Provide direct instruction in a variety of subjects, tailored to the unique needs of each student

    + Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student

    + Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed

    + Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

    + Sped teachers who provide direct instruction in ELA, Math, Science, and/or Social Studies in addition to providing co-teaching services in these areas. The schedule and services are set by the sped department, with each teacher doing a combination of grade levels and subjects. It's a team approach of supplemental and supplanted instruction.

    Qualifications:

    + **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Special Education Teacher (SPED)**

    + Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field

    + Valid teaching certificate in special education

    + Experience working with students with disabilities

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills

    + Must have up to date certification in the state of **SC**

    + Must possess SC sped certification and be available for onsite services.
