    General Summary:

    **Position requires to be onsite in San Diego full time

    Position Function and Scope:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) for the $30B+ QCT business. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive sales incentive programs that drive performance and align with our strategic objectives. The Senior Manager will oversee incentive plans across multiple functions, including semiconductor hardware and SaaS platforms, ensuring they are competitive, fair, and effective in motivating our sales teams. The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with and providing guidance to a diverse group of stakeholders of varying seniority, experience, and geographic location, leading a team based in different geography, and capable of analyzing large amounts of data in a time-sensitive environment.

    Key Responsibilities include the following:

    Design and Implementation:

    + Develop and implement sales incentive plans that align with company goals and drive desired sales behaviors.

    + Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure incentive plans support strategic objectives and business growth.

    Plan Management:

    + Oversee the administration of sales incentive plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payouts.

    + Monitor and analyze plan effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    + Work closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of incentive plans.

    + Coordinate with business unit teams to understand the unique aspects of semiconductor hardware and SaaS platforms and tailor incentive plans accordingly.

    Performance Analysis:

    + Conduct regular performance analysis to assess the impact of incentive plans on sales performance.

    + Provide detailed reports and insights to senior management on plan effectiveness and ROI.

    Compliance and Best Practices:

    + Ensure all incentive plans comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

    + Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in sales incentives, incorporating them into our programs.

    Communication and Training:

    + Develop and deliver training programs for sales teams to ensure understanding and engagement with incentive plans.

    + Communicate plan details and updates clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.

    Budget Management:

    + Manage the budget for sales incentive programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial goals.

    Tools & Automation:

    + Understand the latest system and tool for SIP management and leverage the tools to automate incentive tracking and reporting

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.

    OR

    Associate's degree and 11+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.

    OR

    High School Diploma or equivalent and 13+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.

     

    *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

    Preferred Qua** **lifications:

    • Master's degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field.

    • 11+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience in a high-tech product company.

    • 4+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).

    • 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

    • 4+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

    Level of Responsibility:

    • Provides supervision to other supervisors/managers who are direct reports.

    • Decision-making is critical in nature and highly impacts program, product, or project success.

    • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey highly complex and/or detailed information. May require strong negotiation and influence with large groups or high-level constituents.

    • Oversees budgets, schedules, and performance standards for multiple departments or functional areas.

    • Has influence over the formulation and achievement of long-term business plans and objectives.

    • Tasks often require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

    Pay range** **and Other Compensation & Benefits** **:

    $142,400.00 - $213,600.00

     

    The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
