    The HR Engagement Coordinator contributes to the smooth and employee-focused work of the People Operations team with a focus on time, labor, absence management, benefits, payroll and keeping employee information up to date in the HRIS tool (Oracle HCM). They provide direct customer and operational support to ensure prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to all customers.

     

    This is a full-time, benefit eligible position with a hiring range of $20.57-$25.72 per hour.

    Core Responsibilities:

    + Serve as point of first contact for the department, responding to inquiries from customers, and directing inquiries to the appropriate resources/channels.

    + Coordinate the new employee onboarding process, orienting new employees to HR resources, and collecting HR paperwork and personal information in a timely manner.

    + Provide Oracle HCM training and support to employees through new employee orientation events, answering routine end user questions, and initiating Oracle business processes.

    + Assist the People Operations Manager in ensuring employee inquiries/requests are attended to in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring the ticketing system, ensuring tickets are assigned, and following up about tickets needing attention.

    + Manage HR student employees – hiring, scheduling, training and general supervision.

    + Assist with mass communication of HR initiatives and regular campus-wide processes such as bi-weekly payroll and annual tax forms.

    + Support People Operations team on projects, including but not limited to process improvement and data clean-up.

    Requirements

    + Associate’s degree preferably in Human Resources, office management or related field. Interest in gaining experience and exposure to a wide range of people-related functions with Human Resources.

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex tasks and projects.

    + Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information with discretion.

    + Able to project a warm, welcoming, and competent image to customers and meet all customers where they are in providing support.

    + Experience working with cloud-based human capital management system(s) such as Oracle or Workday is desirable.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, team collaboration and database systems.

    + Solid knowledge of general office procedures, equipment, etc.

    + Passionate about learning and developing new skills within a fast-paced department and eager to take on new challenges.

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

    General office environment with long periods of computer work. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a high stress environment and be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
