DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, Programmer Analyst, IT Analyst, Solution Architect, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, Programmer Analyst, IT Analyst, Solution Architect, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Windows operating system and Linux open-source systems; Working on Agile SDLC; scrum practices; Designing in Application Architecture and Infrastructure Architecture disciplines; Designing Microservice Architecture using Microservice design patterns; Developing Microservices using REST API's; Developing software in Java and Python using Design Patterns, OOPS, JDBC, J2EE, Springboot, and JavaScript; using MERN and MEAN to develop in the full software development lifecycle with Jenkins, NodeJS, SOAP, Spring, CSS, and HTML; designing and developing, conducting memory optimization, using Multi-threading to enable parallel processing, and conducting performance tuning in Java, JavaScript, and Python; developing Web applications using web frameworks including React and Angular through JavaScript, Redux, and Typescript; utilizing CSS, SASS, LESS, React with SASS, and React with LESS and CSS preprocessors for web development; working with libraries including Bootstrap, lodash, highcharts, handlebars, and Material UI; Developing Automated testing using Selenium web drivers; Blackbox Testing, Manual Testing, Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Functional testing, and System Integration Testing using react-testing services and JEST; creating customizable web components, widgets, web server and application frameworks such as Nodejs and ExpressJs, and using node modules such as node-mssql to connect to Sql using node; working with RDBMS databases including MySQL, Oracle and SQL server; working on Responsive web designs using Media queries and grids; Cloud Migration using AWS cloud services in private, public, and hybrid clouds; web standards including W3C, 508, User Usability and W3C standards; working with Grid libraries such as AG-Grid; server side rendering; troubleshooting and monitoring using Splunk; Session fixation, Cross site scripting, Sql Injection, and resolving vulnerabilities and Request forgery; Network and Storage Configuration, System Design, and integration; version controls including GIT and continuous Integration & Continuous deployment; System Design, development and Configuration of Compute, Network and Storage.
