Purpose of Position:
The Omnichannel Operations Analyst will support the Sportsman’s Warehouse Retail Operations team in the execution of various omnichannel initiatives. This role will drive aggressive retail and eCommerce growth, develop and execute aggressive sales plans toward market share gain, define assortment and channel strategies and explore new business opportunities to drive profitability through analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Develop the reporting package and scorecards for the store operations broken down at the region DM and store level, including service levels volumes productivity, and efficiency reporting
+ Interact between store operations and income marketing and operations to maximize sales and customer experience
+ Establish, monitor, and set service levels
+ Set watermarks, prioritize store in the fulfillment node monitors and communicate volume trends to stores and marketing to ensure workflow is aligned with labor and throughput capabilities
+ Work with eCommerce, marketing, and operations to develop sales initiatives at the class and line level
+ Report to store operations on areas that need support and train store teams on new initiatives and functions within the omnichannel platform
+ Research, review and implement current and planned omnichannel strategy and identify opportunities for improvements in processes, procedures, and efficiencies
+ Provide analytical support to maximize sales, margin, and profit both in-store and online
+ Provide reporting of operational results compared to Company goals and KPIs
+ Identify new reporting needs, customer-centric decisions, and support the creation of complex and actionable management reports
+ Support and work to complete ad-hoc requests and provide data-driven recommendations supporting our omnichannel process
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams including eCommerce, Information Technology and Store Operations to ensure solutions are developed and deployed successfully to stores
+ All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Complete understanding of all aspects of Sportsman’s Warehouse systems (Tomax, Hybris, Portal)
+ Basic understanding of Sportsman’s Warehouse store operations including but not limited to opening and closing procedures, receiving, firearms, and inventory control processes
+ Knowledge of Retail and eCommerce operations and sales environments
+ Ability to create flow charts and training manuals
+ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
+ A minimum of 3 years of experience in omnichannel operations in both retail and online sales environments required
Travel Requirements:
This position requires some travel.
