    Description

    The CRB Northeast Region Leader is broadly responsible for growth, client relationships, community building and brand-building (internal and external). Responsible for growth and profitability within the broader Northeast region, including Metro NY/NJ, Greater Philadelphia, and New England. Also responsible for hiring new producers and for talent within the broader region. Will collaborate with multiple stakeholders including CRB region and market leaders, line of business leaders, broking teams and the broader CRB community to align and grow our business. He/She will develop and drive the overall strategy, value proposition, talent acquisition and development to achieve revenue growth, client retention and profitability.

     

    The Role

    Growth

    + Drive regional P&L:

    + Create performance benchmarks and manage the region’s revenue and expenses

    + Focus on company-wide sales and adopt strategies to achieve our goals

    + Monitor cost increases and evaluate the use of resources

    + Assess high revenues and low margins components of the P&L

    + Take corrective actions, if needed, to maximize the net profit at the end of the period

    + Review and determine where changes are needed

    + Manages regional pipeline and sales opportunities working closely with lead client relationship directors, regional heads, and Industry leaders

    + Develop data-informed business plans focused on aligning opportunities with resources

    + Coordinate cross-industry sales verticals and opportunities with segment and industry leaders and Client Relationship Directors

    + Develop and launch sales campaigns – both broadly and more targeted product and industry development/event-based immediate opportunity plans

    Client Relationships

    + Manage clients directly and serve as a resource to other colleagues on larger clients

    + Serve as a solution expert bringing together the right colleagues and carrier partners to solve client risk and business challenges to deliver an excellent client experience

    + Drive alignment between producers, broking, client service ops and client teams to ensure approach to delivering the best client experience

    Community Building

    + Work with CRB Region and Market Leaders, LOB Leaders and broking leadership to continue to refine our network to build dedicated and aligned resources in broking and service teams

    + Connect resources across WTW to ensure innovation and collaboration to provide top talent and insights to clients (e.g., M&A, Risk & Analytics, Captives, Broking, other Industries, etc.)

    Brand Building

    + Drive participation in industry events, serve as keynote speaker at relevant national opportunities

    + Develop and lead others to develop relevant and impactful thought leadership, product profiles, RFP content, etc.

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    + Preferably educated to a degree or MBA level

    + Preferably with professional qualifications

    + Minimum 10 years of experience in the insurance brokerage sector

    + Has an established brand in the industry sector and possesses the ability to act as the brand for the Company

    + Preferably with experience in establishing and driving pipeline management protocols

    Skills:

    + Excellent project management skills

    + Excellent verbal and written communications

    + High-level of business and financial acumen

    + Inclusive leader able to gain consensus amidst ambiguity

    + Highly collaborative with the ability to influence in a matrix environment

    + Leverages emotional Intelligence to influence performance and outcomes

    + Possesses strong interpersonal skills including approachability, self-knowledge, customer focus, composure and listening

    + Ability to operate both as a high-level as strategic thinker, but can also engage as part of a team to develop and deliver work product

    Compensation

     

    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $350,000.00 to $500,000.00 USD per year.

     

    This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
