Overview
Savannah River Mission Completion is seeking **Regulatory Documentation Coordinator** to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.
The **Regulatory Documentation Coordinator** will coordinate development of regulatory documentation necessary to support operational tank closure activities through management of the documentation process for multiple tanks/ancillary structures in various phases of the closure process. Serve as primary interface with project managers, facility operations, engineering, and as necessary, regulatory stakeholders.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate efforts of multiple document developers to prepare tank closure regulatory documentation(similar to CERCLA type regulatory documents)for numerous projects.
+ Ensure that applicable regulatory guidance, data analysis, protocols, and program requirements are accurately implemented and integrated into the documents uniformly across all projects.
+ Provide leadership to document developers regarding document content.
+ Interface with project managers to establish schedules for regulatory documentation.
+ Participate in project team meetings to provide status updates and communicate back to document developers any changes in schedules or priorities.
+ Track documents through all stages of the development, review, and approval cycles to ensure project schedules are met.
+ Lead comment resolution meetings with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), South Carolina Department of Environmental services (SCDES), and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
+ Coordinate development of presentation materials needed to support meetings between DOE, NRC, EPA and SCDES, including public meetings when necessary.
+ Continuously evaluate the documentation process to identify opportunities to improve documentation and/or reduce cycle time associated with document development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable science discipline from an accredited university or college with a minimum five years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in writing and reviewing of technical and/or regulatory documentation
+ Experience with DOE programs and regulatory agency interaction
+ Ability to coordinate efforts of a multi-disciplinary team
+ Experience in development and management of project schedules

Minimum Pay
USD $82,896.00/Yr.
Maximum Pay
USD $183,804.00/Yr.
