    Schedule:    Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

     

    ENTER LINE OF BUSINESS is seeking a compassionate, grounded, and spiritually-sensitive Chaplain in City, Sate . Our Chaplains provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families during end-of-life care. This role is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, offering a nonjudgmental presence and care that honors the beliefs, values, and cultural backgrounds of those we serve.     As a Chaplain You will:

    + Conduct and ensur e timely spiritual assessments for patients and families

    + Participate in developing individualized care plans to address spiritual needs

    + Provides direct spiritual support to patients, families, and caregivers

    + Serves as a liaison to community chaplains and spiritual counselors

    + Maintains accurate documentation of spiritual services and communications

    + Attends interdisciplinary meetings and contributes to care planning

    + Offers education and spiritual care guidance to the care team

    + Recruits and supports community chaplains, spiritual counselors, and volunteers

    + Coordinates and leads memorial or funeral services as requested

    + Organizes periodic memorials for staff, volunteers, and community partners

    + Assists in supervising spiritual care volunteers

    Qualifications

    + Graduate of an accredited theology or chaplaincy program (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree)

    + Experience working with death and dying, hospice experience preferred

    + Comfort in an interfaith setting

    + Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order

    + Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs and values

    + Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care

    + Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary group

    + Ability to network with community clergy and congregations
