Discover Impactful Work:
Lead security architecture in specialized domains like Web, AI/ML, Cloud, Embedded, Native Software, or Distributed Systems. Drive secure design efforts, define scalable control patterns, and embed security into product development in partnership with engineering and product teams.
A day in the Life:
+ Join architecture review sessions to evaluate design proposals and ensure alignment with product security standards.
+ Develop and maintain reusable security reference architectures and domain-specific design mentorship tailored to the needs of development teams.
+ Collaborate with other security leaders to track emerging threats, translate them into architectural requirements, and evolve the organization’s product security strategy accordingly.

The Sr. Staff Product Security Architect will be successful by establishing themselves as a trusted technical partner who advances product security through strategic architecture leadership. They will materially improve product security by proactively identifying risks, driving secure design practices, and delivering contextualized, actionable guidance to engineering teams.
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or other relevant field. Equivalent work experience also accepted.
Experience
+ 8+ years of previous and related work experience
+ Experience driving threat modeling, secure design reviews, or risk mitigation strategies within multi-functional engineering environments.
+ Hands-on experience building, designing, and scaling secure and resilient systems, with a focus on long-term architectural improvements and sustainability.
+ Experience developing and implementing security frameworks, technical guardrails, or secure development lifecycle practices.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
+ Strong ability to evaluate sophisticated technical designs and identify risks using a deep understanding of common attack patterns, architectural weaknesses, and secure design principles.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical security concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical partners.
+ Proven track record of effectively partnering with diverse teams, encouraging positive relationships with engineering, product, and leadership customers to achieve secure outcomes.
+ Demonstrated experience applying security principles within one or more technical domains, including Web, AI/ML, Cloud, Embedded, Native Software, or Distributed Systems.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in North Carolina is $130,000.00–$194,950.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
