How will you make an impact?
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting site improvement efforts across all business and manufacturing departments. These strategic projects are crafted to meet the needs of our rapidly growing organization. You'll use proven operational excellence tools to drive process improvements and achieve our goals.
What will you do?
Join our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) team and champion lean six sigma principles and standard methodologies. Responsibilities include:
+ Leading by example and instilling a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Identifying, developing, and implementing new opportunities for process improvements.
+ Working with area leaders to encourage accountability and boost critical metrics.
+ Conducting various continuous improvement activities and methodologies, such as kaizens, workshops, and diagnostics.
+ Managing and leading approved operational improvement projects from inception to realization.
+ Calculating and validating project benefits in collaboration with Finance and project sponsors.
+ Remaining up-to-date with industry standard processes and methodologies.
+ Acting as an internal consultant to share and implement operational excellence practices.
+ Collaborating with team members and collaborators to support central initiatives.
+ Completing annual operational excellence roadmaps to drive continuous improvement.
How will you get here?
Education/ Background:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or related field or 5 years of CI experience.
+ Training in lean manufacturing or similar principles.
Experience:
+ 5 years of experience in an operations/manufacturing environment.
+ Proven track record with cross-functional teams and new process development.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
+ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Ability to drive cross-functional teams to solve problems and implement balanced improvements.
Strong influencing skills:
+ Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Data analysis:
+ Proficiency in data analysis to support process improvement initiatives.
