Allegheny Health Network’s (AHN) Women’s Institute is recruiting an AAGL Fellowship trained **Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon** to join our team at both Forbes and West Penn Hospitasl in Pittsburgh PA. This academic appointment offers the opportunity to work with AHN Ob/Gyn residents and has a close relationship with the REI, Gyn Onc and Urogyn departments. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing Gyn department, live in an amazing city and do meaningful work and research with great people.

Job Duties:

+ Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgery including hysterectomies, myomectomies and endometriosis

+ Da Vinci surgical system is available at both sites

+ Inpatient and outpatient consults

+ Resident education

+ Average clinic patient census of 16 visits per day

+ No prenatal care or obstetrics

Job Qualifications:

+ Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

+ Eligible for a Pennsylvania Medical License

+ Completion of an AAGL Fellowship

+ PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

+ Completion of accredited residency and fellowship if required by specialty

+ Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate
