Polysomnographic Sleep Tech - Entry level, Nights

Under the supervision of physicians and in the presence of a Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT, RRT-SDS, or RST), the Polysomnographic Sleep Technician (Poly Tech) performs patient care duties and provides excellent customer service while actively completing the ASTEP program and receiving on-the-job training. There will be occasional travel to the CHP North Satellite.Working hours will be 5:45pm-6:15am, 3 nights per week and every other weekend. No holidays!
Responsibilities:
+ Enroll in and complete the ASTEP program within one year of hire
+ Under the direction of senior staff, assist with:
+ Preparing patients for sleep testing
+ Educating patients on sleep procedures
+ Analyzing and scoring sleep studies
+ Performing therapeutic treatments and interventions
+ Cleaning equipment and patient rooms
+ Inventory and restocking
+ Complete monthly ISR as a training scorer
+ Attend monthly staff meetings and required trainings

+ HS diploma (required) and 6 months relevant experience in an allied-health field (preferred). **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ Registered Polysomnographic Technologist must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
+ BLS required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
