    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    The Data Analyst will be responsible for utilizing technical and industry knowledge to accelerate analytic insights and new feature enhancements to Pareto’s risk adjustment solution suite. Additionally, the ability to understand / contribute to business requirements and documentation standards, supply critical thinking to deliverables, apply business acumen to findings, and operate in a team environment to accomplish desired deliverables will be vital to success. Collaborating within a team, the analyst will engage with engineers, QA, Data Scientists, and Product teams using agile methodologies, while also working with advisory and customer success teams to resolve issues and discuss new requirements.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Gain a firm understanding of Pareto’s Risk Solutions suite and utilize technical/business skillset to query large data sets for developing analytic insights which contribute to new features.

    + Collaborate with the Manager, Data Analytics and Product team to support analytical architecture for optimal user experience.

    + Utilize technical skillset to address market-driven business questions for empowering key stakeholders to gain insights into risk adjustment performance.

    + Provide data analysis and model development support for Pareto’s software solutions.

    + Synthesize raw data into digestible information independently.

    + Enhance Pareto’s quantitative capabilities and client offerings.

    + Contribute to requirements gathering and recommendations in line with best practices.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Marketing Analytics, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or Healthcare Analytics with proven experience exhibiting data and analytic proficiency.

    + 3+ years of experience with data aggregation tools like Python (Jupyter), SQL, or SAS.

    + 3+ years in analytics or business intelligence within the healthcare sector.

    + Proficient in SQL for creating and updating stored procedures.

    + Familiarity with healthcare payer/provider claims, clinical, or quality data.

    + Risk Adjustment experience is preferred.

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Pareto.

    + Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Pareto.

    + Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required.

    Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

    This position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Must possess strong familiarity with office software including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Jupyter Hub & EMR Studio and Statistical software SAS

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to 105,000 USD with a bonus target of up to 5% of the base salary. While it is not typical to offer candidates at or near the top of the range, we do consider a wide range of factors when making offer decisions, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, a candidate’s relevant skills, training, experience, education and where applicable, licensure and certifications obtained. We also consider organizational and market factors when making offer decisions. This range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what we would reasonably expect to pay for this position. We reserve the right to modify this range in the future as organizational and market conditions dictate.
