Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX), Electro-Optic Technology Division (JXQ), Product Support Airborne & Exp. EO (JXQZ) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000). Responsibilities You will serve as the principal logistics focal point for USSOCOM projects encompassing (a) PEO SOF Warrior, PM-SOF Lethality projects for Visual Augmentation Systems and VAS Weapon Accessories (VASWA) and (b) the PEO Maritime project for CCFLIR. You will execute logistics support and prepare programmatic documentation in accordance with USSOCOM Directives 70-1 and 700-2. You will provide subject matter expert (SME) input for product support requirements for Capability Development Document (CDD), Capability Production Document (CPD), and Performance Specifications. You will prepare acquisition documentation (i.e., Performance Work Statements or Statements of Work, Simplified Acquisition Management Plans, Contract Data Requirements Lists, Source Selection Plans, and Independent Government Estimates. You will serve as a member on contract Source Selection Evaluation Board (SSEB) and sole source Technical Evaluations. You will serve as the focal point and principal preparer/contributor for project quarterly reports to the program office Product Support Manager (PSM). You will perform spares analysis and recommend quantities for system spares and parts. You will serve as the Requiring Technical Authority (RTA) for Sea Port logistics support staffed to the VAS/VASWA projects. You will provide logistics review and input or major CDRL deliverables toward their on-time approval. You will review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Request for Variance (RFV) for product support impacts and provide recommendations for disposition. You will rate or assist rating contractor performance using Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). You will maintain Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of knowledge and capability for Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) for the projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating and evaluating integrated logistics support (ILS) data and acquisition requirements for weapon systems to modify or develop plans to support and reduce life cycle costs and improve technical activities for the operational readiness of systems. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
