    Summary You will serve as an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to the Expeditionary Warfare and Littoral Operations Department Head (SSTM) and Deputy Department Head of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION. Responsibilities You will provide administrative oversight, assistance and guidance to 12 Department staff, 4 Division Heads, 17 Branch Heads, 8 administrative assistants, and 420 employees. You will provide comprehensive executive-level support, including managing complex calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, preparing meeting materials, and tracking action items. You will oversee and direct administrative work for the Department, developing and implementing policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with NAVSEA and NSWC PCD guidelines. You will manage office workflow to ensure deadlines are met, and serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries. You will manage procurement of office supplies and equipment, tracks property accounts, and coordinates repairs. You will serve as the Department Security Coordinator, managing visit requests and System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR). You will provide training and mentorship to junior administrative staff. You will lead the Department’s development and implementation of the Continuity of Operations Plan and Destructive Weather Plan. You will lead the Department’s Records Management Program, prepares and edits complex correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring adherence to Navy standards and serving as the Department’s master proofreader. You will coordinate conferences and meetings, including logistics and materials preparation. You will utilize MS Office Suite and specialized Navy websites and tools to manage the critical and evolving needs of the Department Head and Staff. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NG-03 (GS 07-08 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing complex administrative operations and guiding leaders and support staff to manage workflow, correspondence, travel, and security processes for the operational efficiency, compliance, and continuity of a large department and executive team.
