    Floating teachers substitute for classroom teachers as needs arise, including absences, break coverage, and providing additional support. Adheres to mission, vision, and core values, implementation of service standards, contributes to a warm and friendly environment, and family and staff engagement.

    Additional Job Information

    • NYS Initial certification required.

    • Familiarity using technology to support instruction

    • Develop meaningful lesson plans that are tailored to interests of the group and focus on play, forming connections with children, and support a developmental curriculum

    • Evidence of positive classroom management skills; strong communication skills

    • Ability to flex between grade levels

    • Evidence of self-initiative and ability to collaborate within a team
