Job Description

AECOM seeks an IT Asset Specialist to join our Corporate IT team. The IT Asset Specialist will lead the global IT stock rooms and the AMER PC as a Service Program.

_This position will be full time in-office based and located in Houston, TX._

The successful candidate will take ownership of the following activities:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

+ Working closely with AECOM’s PC as a Service provider for the US and Canada regions to ensure we meet our deliverable targets in the following areas:

+ PC Refresh

+ New Hire PC Deployment

+ Contingent worker PC deployment.

+ Leaver asset retrieval

+ E-Discovery processing

+ Reuse / Disposal

+ Stock / Order Tracking / Monitoring

+ Dell PC as a Service Performance Monitoring

+ Hardware Stock Management / Forecasting

+ Raise Purchase Requests for hardware.

+ Leading the PCaaS software install team.

+ Provide reporting on the PC as a Server program (PC Refresh, Onboarding and Offboarding)

+ Partner with the AECOM ITAM team to ensure that the IT Service Delivery staff follow the agreed-upon processes.

+ E-discovery legal hold process

+ CMDB Updates

+ Shipping/receiving.

+ E-waste Disposal

+ Manage the global IT stockrooms with our IT outsource provider.

+ Ensure knowledge articles, training and how-to documents are created.

+ Document and communicate processes, procedures, and standards.

+ Identify opportunities for improvement.

+ Collaborate and contribute to the broader IT goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

+ BA/BS plus at least 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Experience with Office applications

+ Experience with producing data & reports

+ Experience working in ServiceNow.

+ A passion for Service Improvement

+ Experience dealing with complex IT operational issues and coordinating cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and resolution.

+ Experience working with internal IT delivery teams and external IT service providers.

+ Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience working within the AEC industry

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Basic understanding of IT

+ Strong organisational skills

+ Exceptional customer-facing skills

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $30.00/hour - $38.00/hour.
