Position Specific Description
The Strategic Initiatives – Solar Repower team is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Management Analyst to support prospecting, pricing, evaluating and executing on the Solar Repower opportunity set. This role will play a critical part in building the Solar Repower platform, leveraging an agile-inspired work style to establish a sustainable operating model. A successful candidate will be responsible for identifying assets for repowering and performing preliminary viability studies, as well as supporting viable targets through early-stage assessments, management vetting and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct thorough analysis of Solar Repower opportunity set to identify and recommend targets and timelines.
+ Develop and implement processes to maintain efficient work environment.
+ Analyze financial data and prepare reports on targets.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information, and generate presentation materials.
+ Support project management activities by providing analytical insights and tracking progress.
+ Execute other duties as assigned by team lead.
Job Overview
Employees in this role support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets. This position support budgeting and forecasting, analyzing P and L variance, participating in ad hoc and special projects.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
+ Completes financial, operational, or technical project analysis
+ Conducts analyses regarding issues that have an impact on the operation of a specific functional area and makes recommendations to management
+ Maintains project schedules and reviews documents for technical accuracy
+ Performs ad hoc projects, report development, modeling, and other miscellaneous projects
+ Oversees discretionary capital improvement or restructuring projects for generating assets
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Experience: 2+ years
Preferred Qualifications
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
+ Master's - Business Administration
+ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
