Job Purpose

Support the company’s maintenance program by focusing on plant equipment, building upkeep, and the maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems to ensure uninterrupted continuity of facility, manufacturing, and support operations, while fully complying with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Essential Functions

+ Must have experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing new and existing plumbing and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes

+ Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing for successful passing of system inspections

+ Conducts preventative maintenance including inspection/ testing of pipes and plumbing

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

+ Must be available on weekends

+ Follow all company GMP and safety policies/ procedures in place

+ Must be able to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints

+ Must be able to work independently as well as in a team

+ Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel

+ Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures

+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

+ 5+ Years of plumbing experience

+ Possess a MA Journeyman Plumbers License

+ Valid Driver’s License

+ Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, & techniques of the plumbing trade and all Federal, State and Municipal Building Codes

+ Ability to work on plans, sketches, specifications & blueprints

+ Working knowledge of CMMS

+ Working knowledge of lockout/tagout programs

+ Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office

+ Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutions

+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

+ Strong communication skills

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $42.00 to $50.00 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
