Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm | Must be available to work occasional nights/weekends as needed for event coverage and crisis communications
Job Summary: The Creative Production Specialist supports developing and delivering creative content that reflects and promotes the Saint Francis Health System (SFHS) brand. This role helps manage creative projects, assists with print production processes, and collaborates with designers and marketing team members to produce materials that engage patients, staff, and the community. The specialist ensures consistency and alignment with SFHS’ mission and values.
Minimum Education: Associate’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in creative, print production, or marketing role. Experience within a healthcare environment, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency within graphic design software with a deep understanding of branding, marketing, and visual communication principals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information to a diverse audience. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to be highly organized with strong project management skills that balance multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated creative problem-solver with a strategic, solutions-focused mindset. Working knowledge of healthcare industry trends, standards, and regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assists in the production and design of high-quality visual content, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and website materials, while maintaining brand consistency. Supports project management by tracking timelines, gathering project details, providing status updates, and ensuring creative tasks stay on schedule. Collaborates with internal departments (marketing, communications, and clinical teams) to define project needs and deliver creative solutions. Works closely with the graphic designer/brand strategist, multimedia strategist, freelancers, and vendors to coordinate the timely delivery of projects and manage logistics for specialized services. Coordinates print production through the on-site Xerox Print and Communication Center, ensuring materials meet brand standards, quality expectations, and deadlines. Participates in creative team meetings, contributes ideas to support quality and innovation, and stays informed on healthcare design and marketing trends to drive continuous improvement. Assists in gathering performance feedback and campaign data to inform future creative strategies and enhance project outcomes.
Decision Making: Independent judgement in planning sequence of operations and making minor decisions in a complex technical or professional field.
Working Relationships: Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
