Job Summary Details:
The Warehouse Floor tech is responsible for performing general warehouse floor duties of at least a one million square foot facility.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license or ID
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
+ Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
+ Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
+ Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
+ Measuring chemicals correctly.
+ Operating chemical dispensing units.
+ Labeling chemicals correctly.
+ Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
+ Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
+ Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
+ Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor.
+ Other duties as assigned
+ Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
+ May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
+ Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
+ Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors
+ Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
+ Gathers and empties trash
+ Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order
+ Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
+ Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
+ Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have minimum of 6 month related work experience using floor tech equipment, running buffers, waxing, and striping
