    Job Summary

    As the Annual Giving and Stewardship Manager, you will report to the Director of Development and be an important contributor to the MBGNA development team. Responsibilities will include managing a comprehensive annual giving program for donors with giving levels up to $25,000. The Annual Giving and Stewardship Manager will also help in planning and building development events, and in overseeing the stewardship and recognition of annual gifts.

     

    Please Note: This is a three-year term-limited position.

    Responsibilities*

    + Develop plans to cultivate and solicit prospects with capacity to make leadership annual gifts ($1,000-$25,000), including tribute and lead membership gifts.

    + Oversee MBGNA's digital fundraising strategy.

    + Maintain appropriate donor contact including written correspondence, phone calls, and travel and hosting for personal visits.

    + Co-produce compelling fundraising materials to communicate MBGNA's impact to external audiences.

    + Be the liaison for University Annual Giving (UAG).

    + Manage donor stewardship process for all gifts including: gift processing, organizational and student acknowledgements, membership, and relationship management.

    + Complete donor-focused events that provide expanded opportunities for donor engagement with MBGNA.

    + Manage student staff member(s)'s oversight of the membership process.

    + Manage student staff member(s)'s oversight of the Tribute Process Tracker, including fielding inquiries, partnering with the Field team to update the tracking system, and communicating updates to donors and their families.

    Required Qualifications*

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

    + 2 or more years of relevant experience in event planning, public relations, fundraising, or a related field.

    + Experience managing databases, and an ability to maintain a high level of discretion with sensitive information.

    + Experience communicating with donors and external constituencies.

     

    Modes of Work

     

    Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
