We are looking to talk to experienced Business Development professionals with strong networks and proven success in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals or Patient Services industries. The ideal candidate will live in or have access to the major metropolitan areas in the Northeast or along the Eastern Seaboard. We are also interested in speaking to anyone in any major market including New York & New Jersey, Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and the Los Angeles basin. As the Junior, Business Development, you will manage, promote and lead sales with client executives, partners and agencies. You will work collaboratively with Business Line Management, Sales and Sales Operations, and Senior Management to grow the business.
Responsibilities
+ Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects to drive revenue in support of monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets. Lead prospecting, up-selling, and follow-up for targeted leads.
+ Lead selling effort on both an operational and strategic basis
+ Manage expenses to be at or below expense plan. Optimize dollars spent by maximizing number of accounts and prospects visited on any given sales trip
+ Meets or exceeds both qualitative and quantitative sales and revenue goals on a consistent basis through development of new prospects, assisting in qualifying leads and closing sales for ConnectiveRx programs.
+ Oversee collection of CRM data and ensure system is up to date and accurate
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ B.S. or B.A., Business or Science.
+ A minimum of 2+ years of successful experience directly or indirectly selling marketing services and/or market access solutions to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
+ Experience working in an agency supporting pharma in EHR tactics
+ Excellent working knowledge of the business development process, financial management, and marketing
+ Working knowledge of EHR environment and providers
+ Organizational and interpersonal skills are critical to this position effective time management is essential along with the ability to multi-task
+ A demonstrated keen sense of relationship building is needed
+ Must be computer proficient and be detail oriented
