Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPV ITSPEC (ENTARCH), Position Description Number D2357000 and is part of the 105TH AW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities As a SUPV IT SPEC (ENTARCH), GS-2210-12, you will serve as the Project Manager and primary technical consultant in the IT infrastructure field and for the implementation of new IT Services provided by an EIS. Additionally, incumbent will supervise, manage, and direct employees, who plan, engineer, coordinate and execute the installation, testing, analysis, modification, and repair of complex state of the art C4I systems and infrastructures for DoD customers, and U. S. Air Force. Incumbent provides oversight and supervision for the vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance technicians. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, and/or training that has provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions and general management principles that enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to automate a work process. Experience may have been gained in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience supervising the daily operations of technician engaged in the planning and engineering for installation, testing, analysis, modification and repair of complex and state of the art C4I systems and infrastructures. Experience ensuring compliance, supportability and planning for a wide variety of programs to include, information management, telecommunications, communication networks, plans and programs, and computer systems operations. Superior Qualifications and Special Needs Pay-setting Authority may be considered for this position. TAG is final approval authority for incentive programs (applicable to newly appointed federal employees or those with a 90 day break in service). This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
