The role you’ll contribute:

Assists surgeons by preparing operating rooms and appropriately arranging surgical equipment and supplies under the direct supervision of Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Registered Nurse (RN).

The value you’ll bring to the team:

+ Ensures operating room is sterile

+ Conducts field preparation and maintenance

+ Conducts instrument counts prior to surgical procedures

+ Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients

+ Provides patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

+ At Minimum, Intern will be in final semester of an Accredited Surgical Tech Program with pending graduation within 6 months.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

+ Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) will be required within 6 months of successful completion of Accredited Surgical Technician Program. Failure to obtain certification will result in job change or termination of employment.
