    Overview

     

    As a Brand & Technology Promotions and Partnerships Manager at Razorfish, you will be joining our Social Strategy team acting as an extension of our client teams on one of our largest accounts. You’ll work alongside our clients on their brand and technology promotions and partnership marketing campaigns.

     

    In this role, you will be embedded on-site with our client, a large entertainment brand - working alongside a team of over 25 people who manage organic social and brand marketing for the brand and all its shows. As a Promotions & Partnerships Manager on the team, you will work on concepting, developing and executing promotions as well as building strategic collaborations with platforms and 3rd parties for our client.

     

    This role is ideal for someone who sits at the intersection of marketing, entertainment, and emerging technology with a passion for learning how to build future-forward partnerships and create never-been-done promotions that elevate brand storytelling and create cultural relevance.

     

    You’ll be responsible for supporting the team that identifies, negotiates, and manages promotions opportunities and partnerships across tech platforms, consumer brands, and innovation partners that align with our client’s IP portfolio and campaign goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Serve as the primary support across assigned projects, building strong rapport with client counterparts

    + Manage strategic and production workflows across brand campaigns and program launches to ensure timely delivery of creative content

    + Assist with project management duties: timelines, deliverables tracking, and internal alignment with creative and media

    + Participate in brainstorms and proactively pitch promotions & partnership ideas aligned to platform trends and brand initiatives

    + Drive momentum on assigned projects by ensuring accountability, clarity of roles, and timely execution

    + Identify white space opportunities to connect with relevant consumer, lifestyle, tech, and platform brands and partners that can extend campaign reach or create cultural buzz

    + Translate campaign goals and brand needs into promotions, activations and partnership programs including concepting, deliverables, and integrated media planning

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, media, experiential, and PR) to ensure partnerships are aligned, well-activated, and measurable.

    + Help maintain relationships with key tech platforms (e.g., TikTok, Meta, Snap, YouTube) and innovation partners to track beta opportunities, co-branded pilots, and strategic alignment.

    + Report on promotions and partnership performance, surfacing insights and recommendations for future optimization

    + Support internal documentation, partner communication, and meeting preparation for all active and upcoming partnerships

    Qualifications

    + 5–7 years' experience in brand promotions, partnerships, tech partnerships, or integrated marketing—ideally within an entertainment, agency, or platform environment.

    + Passion for pop culture, tech, and digital content with a pulse on what's trending

    + Strong background in developing and executing social media and brand partnerships.

    + A passion for the tech industry and a keen eye for emerging trends and platform inn

    + Some experience managing and collaborating with representatives from major social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Snapchat).

    + Ability to pitch and develop creative promotions and partnership ideas independently, with support from senior leads

    + Creative thinker able to concept, pitch, and produce ideas connecting emerging trends and tech with Max programming and brand/audience insights

    + Demonstrated success developing promotions and/or launching co-branded marketing programs with lifestyle brands, tech companies, or platforms

    + Ability to spot and shape mutually beneficial partnerships that deliver on both brand storytelling and business goals.

    + Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to independently lead initiatives from concept through execution.

    + Adept at working and presenting cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive results

    + Confident communicator and relationship-builder with a knack for translating marketing strategy into impactful partner programs.

    Not Needed, But Nice to Have:

    + Experience working with or within major entertainment studios, streaming platforms, or fandom-driven brands.

    + Familiarity with IP licensing, promotional partnerships, or co-branded legal frameworks.

    + Knowledge of emerging tech platforms (e.g., Web3, AR/VR, AI tools) and how they intersect with consumer experience.

    + A network of contacts at lifestyle brands, media companies, or tech startups relevant to Gen Z and Millennial audiences.

    + Experience participating in brand innovation workshops, sprints, or cross-functional brainstorms.

    + Comfort navigating matrixed client organizations and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.

    Compensation Range: $46.00 - $72.00/hour. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
