Overview
The SEO Content Strategy Supervisor leads a team of content strategists and ensures the quality of team output. You will handle both tactical tasks, like keyword research and metadata development, and long-term strategies, including competitor analyses, content audits, and SEO campaign recommendations. The Content Supervisor collaborates with the SEO Account Supervisor to identify opportunities aligning with client goals and communicates the content approach to client.
Responsibilities
Knowledge
+ You will understand current and historic SEO trends, fundamentals and SEO concepts
+ You will have a basic knowledge of digital marketing and media categories such as Planning, SEM, Media
+ Explain complex search-related concepts to our teams and clients
+ You will be the lead content resource for a specific set of brands
+ You will develop holistic strategies that align both with audience behaviors and client goals
+ You will structure and format recommendation by need, value, and ease of implementation
+ You will pull keyword insights from multiple sources
+ Know how the agency works and how jobs flow through the agency
Internal: Operations and Strategy
+ Develop strategic approaches for SEO campaigns for larger clients
+ Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to create synergistic plans and reports
+ Manage, execute, and monitor daily SEO strategies
+ Train and mentor associates on SEO best practices
+ Follow agency procedures (on-time and accurate timesheets, GDPs, 360 feedback)
+ Coordinate with the SEO account manager to understand client goals and deliverables
+ Integrate organic search insights with paid search, social listening, and third-party research
+ Conduct high-quality keyword research based on audience needs and client focus areas
+ Monitor competitive landscape and communicate strategic impacts
+ Lead discussions on latest trends and innovations
+ Manage Associates and Senior Associates
+ Lead internal discussions on organic search recommendations
+ Brief the team on project status
+ Improve processes and efficiencies
+ Run cross-team meetings
+ Build relationships and communicate across work groups
Client Relationship
+ Build trusting relationships with client counterparts
+ Guide clients through search processes and strategy presentations, addressing search-related questions
+ Be an on-call resource for account managers and team members
+ Participate in client meetings and provide follow-up to the Account Manager
Qualifications
+ 3+ years direct SEO experience in a content-focused role
+ Experience leading people and projects
+ Knowledge of ad serving technologies
+ Experience using SEO/SEM-related tools (SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, Bright Edge/SEOClarity/Conductor, AHREFs, etc.)
+ Can work both collaboratively and can transition to a more independent work style
+ Exhibits Self Development
+ Previous pharmaceutical industry experience a plus

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $95,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
