    Description

    Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled **Flat Welders** for projects located in and around **Tipton, IA** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of **$24-28/hour** based on experience & skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Finish assembling & welding parts

    + Weld & fabricate parts using various welding techniques from a variety of materials specified in blueprints

    + Check measurements, alignment, weld beams, and/or columns together effectively to meet customers requirements

    + Make adjustments to fit application according to blueprints by cutting and/or griding

    + Re-cut parts to fit as needed

    + Cut & drill a variety of materials using acetylene

    + Cut torch, hand plasma, & mag drill

    + Work on complex welding layouts

    + Verify parts, codes, & stamp on top side of assembly

    + Maintain clean work area with materials off the floor & aisles clutter free

    + Verify all items are marked correctly & checked as completed on blueprints

    + Fill out time-sheets with proper job codes & time spent

    + Move material in and out of facility as needed using forklift

    + Structural steel welding from blueprints

    + Other tasks as assigned

    Requirements:

    + 2+ Years of Structural Steel welding Experience

    + D1.1 Certification or Ability to obtain

    + Ability to read Blueprints
