    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Low Voltage Electricians** for projects located in the **Rochester, NY area** . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **$21-25/hour** based on experience and skill level.If you are a Low Voltage Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

    Job Scope:

    + Monitor & install low-voltage cables and systems for electronic equipment and communication devices

    + Analyze blueprints & schematics to connect the cables safely and accurately

    + Install & configure optical network terminals, modems, and routers

    + Install IP cameras, VOIP phones, T1 extensions, telephone and fiber backbones, CCTV cameras, monitors, power supplies, and receivers in commercial and residential structures

    + Install, configure, test, and maintain all life safety systems including but not limited to fire, burglary, surveillance cameras, digital video recorders, access control systems, intercom, network clocks, freezer/cooler probes, audio, security/HVAC pressure sensors, all related cabling, and other systems as assigned

    + Troubleshoot & repair faulty equipment or conditions

    + Maintenance & upgrade of all life safety systems hardware and software

    + Respond to dispatched service calls in a timely manner

    + Report issues requiring vendor escalation or parts/materials

    + Run & pull wire on ladders

    Requirements

    + Valid driver's license

    + Reliable transportation
