Role Definition
Caterpillar is seeking a **Senior Human Resources Manager** for an exciting role based in Irving, TX. In this role you will direct the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provides guidance on HR policies and practices, and fosters a culture of employee engagement and development. You will work closely with the leadership teams on their strategic people priorities, providing tailored services and solutions in support of their business and talent needs. As a key member of the EPD Human Resources team, it is important to have growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build an engaging culture. This role supports over 1,800 global employees in the areas of product/engineering, sales, operations, and supply chain, and provides leadership to 10 global human resources professionals. What You Will Do
+ Collaborating with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
+ Aligning HR policies and programs for their division which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
+ Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
+ Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
+ Leading team of HR leaders to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
+ Developing and implementing change management methods and materials to facilitate deployment of HR programs and processes within a specific organization.
What You Bring
+ Degree in relative field or equivalent experience desired
+ Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
+ Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
+ Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
+ Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
+ Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
+ Alignment: Knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies.
+ Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
+ Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

+ Selected candidate must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday
+ To support a Global Business, there will be a requirement to travel up to 25%

Summary Pay Range:
$169,320.00 - $253,920.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
