This position shall provide administrative and programmatic support services.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate and manage a broad range of ELWB fellowship program activities, including selection, recruitment, curriculum, and operations.

    + Design and oversee program processes to ensure fellowship processes are equitable and unbiased, including selection rubric design, reviewer/interviewer training, and equity advocate resources.

    + Develop systems to organize and track program data.

    + Coordinate strategic planning activities.

    + Review and analyze fellowship program activities to identify opportunities to streamline current activities and improve operational efficiency.

    + Develop standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation for all fellowship program activities.

    + Review and update Fellowship Handbooks related to the management and operations of the fellowship program(s). Design and implement procedures for continued tracking of critical dates and content, provide recommendations, and oversee continual revision (delegating content updating tasks as needed).

    + Support fellows performing applied laboratory services and analytical services to CDC and field-based locations for ELWB.

    + Review program plans, documents, and meeting summaries to summarize information and update program team.

    + Provide program management support to curriculum lead(s), including training activities, logistics coordination, special projects, and development of leadership and professional development training content.

    + Support the logistical and administrative aspects of designing and delivering curriculum, as needed, including document control, systems development, and file management.

    + Serve as primary point of contact with ELWB and DWD communications team for fellowship communications and promotion needs.

    + Prepare ad-hoc reports with recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of programmatic processes. Collaborate with information technology subject matter experts to design and implement systems enhancements for management activities.

    + Formulate implementation plans for special projects with cross-cutting activities related to fellowship management and operations and evaluate these plans for effectiveness.

    + Coordinate with program lead(s) and supervisor(s) to develop and implement task checklists to improve operational efficiencies.

    + Identify need for supplies and facilitate the ordering of course or program operation supplies.

    + Use existing CDC systems (e.g., SharePoint, CDC Systems and Tools) to manage tasks, ensuring clear documentation of task progress and completion.

    + Direct the work of LLS operations project coordinators to fulfill program management task needs

    + Serve as primary point of contact and LLS lead for the branch’s electronic fellowship management system (eFMS).

    + Lead and manage LLS immersive training experience, to include partner lab engagement, logistics, guidance, and fellow orientation.

    + Lead and manage all aspects of LLS fellow and host site selection, including logistics and timeline and coordination with relevant collaborating branch teams.

    + Manage the LLS inbox and serve as primary point of contact for routine program inquiries and partner outreach.

    + Develop and coordinate program-branded forms and documentation for consistent document and process management.

    + Serve as program primary point of contact with branch evaluators and consulting contractor for program evaluation and logic models.

    + Facilitate the review, discussion, and consensus building of LLS program goals and operations with partners and integrate their recommendations into the program.

    + Coordinate with other branch and team staff to fulfill program tasks and objectives as needed.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

    + 7+ years of experience
