Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a skilled and motivated **Web Developer** to join our dynamic team supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This role focuses on developing robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications that directly support critical healthcare missions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with experience in modern frameworks, content management systems, and best practices for secure and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

+ Develop, maintain, and enhance large-scale web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.

+ Apply deep knowledge of web standards, accessibility, security, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality solutions.

+ Design and implement scalable back-end services and APIs using NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Java, and/or Node.js.

+ Develop and maintain database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance for relational and NoSQL databases.

+ Utilize front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or js to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

+ Leverage experience with Sitecore or similar content management systems to support web content delivery and management.

+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including UX designers, project managers, QA testers, and other developers in an Agile environment.

+ Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of development processes and documentation.

+ Stay current with emerging web technologies and recommend their adoption to improve application functionality and user experience.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

+ 4+ years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of degree.

+ 2+ years of relevant experience.

+ Experience in DoD Healthcare IT (preferred).

+ Experience with C# and Java.

+ Ability to obtain Public Trust required.

+ Ability to write clean code and document your work effectively.

+ Ability to analyze requirements to produce a realistic level of effort.

+ Ability to design effective software architectures for large development projects.

+ Ability to work in a team environment.

+ Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask to meet deadlines.

+ Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting.

+ Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.

+ Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

+ Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

+ Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.

+ Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.
