Chemours is seeking a **Data Engineering Summer Intern** to join our **Digital & Data Analytics** team! This position will report directly to the US based data engineering team lead.

As the Data Engineering Summer Intern, you will work closely with the Digital & Data Analytics team in helping us move data from our various source systems into our Microsoft Azure-based data environment.

**Location:** **Remote** (Based out of Wilmington, DE)

**Hours:** Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

Term:** 3-month assignment between **June** **-September 2025

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Developing data pipelines using the full range of platform capabilities in Microsoft Azure, including

+ Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse

+ Writing data movement routines in Python and SQL

+ Participating in data modeling discussions

The following is** **_required_** **for this role:

+ Current enrollment at an accredited university as a sophomore or above

+ Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar fields

+ Experience with learning programming languages such as Python, SQL, C++, or Java

**The following is** **_preferred_** **for this role** :

+ Experience with databases and cloud services

+ 3.0 GPA or above

+ Experience with SQL and Python
