Keep Operations Moving – Join PDS Tech Commercial as a Shipping & Receiving Technician in the Energy Industry
Work Location: **Tulsa, OK** | Pay: **$** **23.19**
Work Schedule: **20 hours per week, 5 days a week. 7am to 5pm. (e.g. 8am to noon, or 7am to 11am, or noon to 4pm)**

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a reliable and motivated **Shipping and Receiving Technician** to support research and development operations at a major energy facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an active, physical environment and enjoys keeping things organized and on the move.
Your Impact
As a key member of the Technology (R&D) team, you’ll play a vital role in managing inventory, shipping operations, and sample delivery processes. Your work supports research efforts and helps ensure seamless coordination between teams across the refinery and laboratory. This is more than just logistics—this is about powering innovation in energy.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
+ Maintain and organize inventory of blend components, packaging materials, and supplies
+ Prepare and ship product samples via FedEx
+ Drive company vehicle (on-site only) to deliver and collect materials from the laboratory
+ Keep warehouse and sample area clean, orderly, and safe
+ Record and track incoming and outgoing samples and blends
+ Communicate and coordinate with laboratory teams, customer service, refinery staff, and R&D team members
+ Assist in preparing large oil blends (including handling 5-gallon pails and using manual pallet lifts)
Must-Have Skills
+ Comfortable performing physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, bending, using pallet jacks)
+ Light computer skills (email communication, pulling files, using online shipping tools like FedEx)
+ Ability to drive a company truck (onsite driving only – **valid DL & MVR required** )
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Clear communication with multiple departments across the facility
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ High school diploma with relevant work or laboratory experience
+ Physical ability to perform warehouse and shipping tasks safely
+ Evidence of maturity, responsibility, and interest in long-term employment
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
+ 1–5 years of experience in a laboratory, warehouse, or industrial/refinery setting
+ Candidates with chemistry or lab skills may have future opportunities to move into R&D roles
Work Environment & Conditions
+ Office/warehouse-based; no travel required
+ Work performed in a petroleum refinery setting—includes indoor, outdoor, and warehouse environments
+ Must be able to work in areas with chemicals, machinery, and variable temperatures
+ Personal protective equipment (PPE) required—beards not permitted

**Pay Details:** $22.06 to $28.00 per hour
