    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    + To repair perishable header tooling in support of the header department.

    + Issue tooling to Work orders and to the floor.

    + Ability to measure and inspect header tool to detect issues and insure to specification.

    + Able to read and understand too prints and tool assembly prints.

    + Ability to utilize Hobbing press to disassemble and assemble tools.

    + Ability to operate tool room machines to repair tools if needed (lathe, I.D/O.D grinder, hone and surface grinder) is a plus.

    + Interface with colleagues to distribute items from crib and properly perform transactions in the ERP system, transacting both incoming and outgoing items to the floor.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    + 3 years of cold heading experience or die assembly/repair.

    + Basic computer skills; email, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

    + Ability to work in a team environment.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Monday through Friday, 10 working hours daily.

    + Saturday work when necessary.

    Safety:

    + Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    + Follow all safety requirements to avoid injury to self and fellow employees.

    + Create and maintain a safe work environment; repair and/or report non-conformances to company safety policies and guidelines.

    + Perform the necessary safety requirements to avoid injury to self and fellow employees.

    Work Environment:

    + Clean, professional, well-kept manufacturing plant.

    + Non air conditioned environment.

    Physical Demands:

    + 80% of the time sitting.

    + will require walking and standing as well for 10 hr. shift.

    + Lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 30 lbs. regularly.

    + Attention to detail is required.
