Inpatient Rehab and Acute Care COTA:
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Atrium Medical Center, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our patients. Your mission will be to collaborate with our skilled occupational therapists to deliver exceptional care, focusing on improving both physical and cognitive performance while helping patients navigate their disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Direct Patient Care:** Partner with occupational therapists to provide tailored treatments aimed at optimizing patient recovery and performance.
+ **Documentation:** Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in line with departmental standards.
+ **Team Collaboration:** Be an active and positive contributor to both disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams.
+ **Professional Development:** Engage in ongoing professional growth opportunities, supervise students and volunteers as needed, and assist in orienting new team members.
Licensure & Certification:
+ **License:** Must hold a valid Occupational Therapy license issued by the State of Ohio.
+ **Certification:** Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required at the time of hire.
Experience:
+ **Minimum Requirement:** No prior job-related experience necessary.
+ **Preferred Experience:** 1-3 years of relevant experience in occupational therapy.
