• Visual Merchandiser

    Position Summary

    The Visual Merchandiser will develop and execute visual presentation strategies by analyzing market, store, and item-level KPI data. This role includes designing planograms using JDA Space Planning software, drafting detailed merchandising communications, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely implementation. The Visual Merchandiser will also leverage broad category knowledge to optimize product presentation and support sales growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Facilitate planogram schedules from category review to in-store implementation, ensuring timelines and tasks are completed accurately.

    + Analyze planogram and product performance to make informed decisions on product presentation, inventory allocation, and store payroll allocation.

    + Design product presentations, fixture configurations, and in-store marketing materials that align with AutoZone's Visual Presentation Standards.

    + Draft 300 to 600 planograms annually using JDA Space Planning software.

    + Create detailed store communications with step-by-step procedures for implementing planograms and merchandising initiatives.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of visual merchandising strategies.

    Requirements

    + Two to three years of experience in merchandising, retail (in a planogram environment), space management, or visual presentation.

    + Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills (both verbal and written).

    + Proficiency in Space Planning software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

    + Basic understanding of graphic programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Quark.

    Preferred Requirements

    + Analytical experience and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
