    Job Description Summary:

    The Product Engineering Technical Writer/Analyst Intern will be responsible for documentation of a variety of projects within the Product Engineering Office. Assignments can include creating new documentation, revising old documentation, creating and executing discovery sessions with developers and management to create and catalog documents. Assisting with the management of Option Care Health by shadowing scrum masters and project managers on new projects and creating runbooks and reports. Some vulnerability reviews and Business analysts may also be requested as part of the software development cycle documentation.

     

    **Job Description:** ​

    Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

    + Participate in scrum ceremonies, code reviews and security vulnerability reviews, contributing to the creation of new documentation

    + Participate in Trouble shooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software contributing to the creation of new documentation

    + Working with QA Department, assist in testing software contributing to the creation of new documentation

    + Proactively learning about new technology, processes, procedures and business analysis.

    + Knowledgeable In Agile and Scrum Methodologies, preferably has Atlassian Jira experience and willing to expand this knowledge.

    + Identifying problems and creating remediation documentation.

    + Communicate and collaborate with senior leaders and team members

    Basic Education Experience Requirements

    + Current undergraduate degree with a Business, Technical Writer/Analyst background

    Basic Qualifications

    + Hands on experience as a Technical Writer/Analyst intern position

    + Demonstrated ability to assess when to ask for help versus when to complete assignments with limited assistance (required).

    + Business, Technical Writer/Analyst background, Analyst degree program

    + Familiarity with the Technical Industry and subject matter you will be writing about is crucial.

    + Effective oral and written communication skills (required).

    + Demonstrate ability to appropriately analyze, interpret, and discuss low to moderately complex issues (required).

    + Customer oriented along with the ability to work well in a team setting (required).

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).

    + Excellent research, critical thinking, and adaptability skills

    + Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy.
