Job Summary
This 3–9 month internship provides undergraduate or graduate level students with an opportunity to apply their developing knowledge and skills in health services administration/management, research, or policy. Students gain a better appreciation for the pressures that affect decision-making in today’s healthcare environment and can identify additional skills they will need to better prepare them for a rewarding career in health care administration or other healthcare related field.
This role will be within the Clinical Enterprise, specifically supporting the chief medical officer’s divisions that include safety/quality, research, medical education, medical staff, and other related departments on a variety of potential activities.

Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required
+ Experience: None.
+ Additional Skills Required:
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and e-mail.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and all levels of authority.
+ Flexibility to respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
+ Additional Skills Preferred:
+ Demonstrates customer service skills dealing with senior leaders, personnel, physicians, and visitors. Expresses information in clear, concise, organized manner.
