What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney Operations is seeking a highly qualified, energetic, and experienced leader to oversee all Operations and Delivery responsibilities of Assembly and Test in support of the PW1100G-JM program across the Production Delivery Center (PDC) network.
This role will report directly to the PDC Production General Manager.
Reporting to this role will be the 30K Flow Line Manager, supervisors, hourly associates, and Product Line Manager.
In this highly visible and critical role, the leader will be responsible for:
+ Direct oversight and responsibility of running the Middletown 30K (PW1100G-JM) assembly line
+ Indirect oversight and responsibility of test through delivery to the customer from the Middletown B410 test facility
+ Indirect oversight and responsibility of delivery from the MTU Munich PW1100G-JM assembly line and test through delivery to the customer
+ Serve as the focal point of the PDC to the 30K Program office
+ Leadership of the 30K assembly and test organization will require close teamwork and collaboration with numerous customers and enabling organizations, including, but not limited to 30K Program Office, Airbus Final Assembly Line support teams, PDC Quality, PDC EH&S, Industrial Relations, PDC Operational Excellence, PDC materials, PDC test operations, and others.
+ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Drive delivery plan by site and across the network in aggregate to program requirements.
+ Identify and mitigate risks to the delivery plan, escalating as needed to appropriate levels across organizations to resolve work stops.
+ Drive efficiency improvement efforts across sites to achieve lead time and cost targets.
+ Identify key program/project KPI’s, with the ability to identify and analyze critical issues, ensure they are acted on and elevated with a sense of urgency, and create robust operating and communication rhythms with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
+ Effectively communicate; provide senior-level and external/customer briefings on strategy, roadmap, performance, and significant events/risks.
+ Collaborate with internal functional groups and partners to evolve and drive strategy to meet current and future customer requirements.
+ Assess and evolve organization to ensure optimal alignment, headcount numbers, and allocation to ensure successful completion of deliverables, lead and drive headcount planning actions, as well as the development of talent across the organization.
+ Foster and drive a culture of continuous improvement utilizing P&W CORE Operating System.
+ Partner with and adhere to Pratt & Whitney guidance from Quality, EH&S, International Trade Compliance, and Ethics & Compliance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ BS/MS degree with at least 14 years of relevant experience
+ Experience in operations, aftermarket, or sustainment
+ Experience in hourly associate supervisory roles, fostering strong working relationship with bargaining unit employees and leadership team while driving accountability throughout the organization.
+ Experience working closely with Programs, Engineering, and Quality
+ Experience leading multi-site organizations
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Demonstrated expertise in shop management
+ Experience in engine assembly, test, and delivery
+ Experience with Operational Excellence tools such as but not limited to Manufacturing Readiness Level and Standard Production System
+ PW1100G-JM experience
+ Exhibit strong analytical and strategy development, communications, and ability to navigate and synthesize partnerships and relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
+ Ability to efficiently communicate with P&W leadership & external customers, to inform, influence, and align where necessary
+ Experience with international operations, partners, and suppliers

+ This role is: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
