Job Summary
The Global Design team is a part of our larger Global Technology and Product organization. This team plays an integral role in exploring, delivering, and overseeing all aspects of the product-experience that millions of customers, across the world, interact with every day.
As an Associate Creative Director of Mobile & Broadband experiences on the Connected Experiences team, you’ll partner with area leaders for Smart Home and App Strategy to lead a world-class team of multi-disciplinary creatives. This creative team crafts digital, end-to-end, user-experiences across native-mobile-applications to engage and support customers throughout their life cycle with a specific focus on the Xfinity App.
You will set, execute, and continuously evolve a unified design strategy & vision across your area, for your team, while working closely with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to align design outcomes with business objectives.
You will be responsible for leading a team of individual contributors and managers, hiring, onboarding, and mentoring while growing your team.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
+ Manage a team on the day-to-day, provide feedback, guidance, and critique work
+ Present strategy briefs to stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment across business objectives
+ Work closely with stakeholders to align on timelines across a 6–12-month time-horizon
+ Leading with integrity, passion, and a personal commitment to excellence in all aspects
+ Fostering a culture of authentic curiosity, improvement through innovation, and tireless collaboration
+ Engaging and facilitating discussions and design workshops locally & globally
+ Maintaining a deep knowledge of our Connectivity products & services alongside the latest trends, innovations, and advancements in technology
+ Think holistically, champion the heroically simple, and spark joy across the experience
+ Collaborate with product management to prioritize roadmaps and objectives, ensuring alignment and cohesion throughout the design process
+ Leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team of designers, providing guidance alongside ultra-clear direction and vision
Requirements:
+ Experience building relationships with internal and external partners
+ Experience managing and leading a team of multidisciplinary designers
+ A diverse portfolio of mobile or web-applications, with an ideal focus on native-experiences in technology or startup environments
+ Efficiencies in Figma, Keynote & Power-point, and any AI-related applications
+ Excellent written, verbal communication skills (Must be able to present to executive leadership)
+ Experience working within a large engineering, product, and design organization
