Your day to day as An Assembly Test Technician

As a Full-Time Assembly Test Technician at PTI Technologies, you'll be tasked with assembling and testing filter assemblies and components while executing essential sub-assembly procedures under supervision. You will follow all written and verbal instructions to create sub-assemblies and filter assemblies, working diligently from blueprints and specifications. Utilizing a variety of mechanical and precision hand tools, you will handwork parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly, assembling critical components such as bushings, pistons, and valves. Additionally, you will perform necessary repairs or reworks by disassembling and rebuilding units as needed. In this role, you will learn to check indicators and modules for alignment, making the final adjustments to ensure excellence in quality.

Would you be a great Assembly Test Technician ?

To thrive as a Full-Time Assembly Test Technician at PTI Technologies, you'll need a solid foundation of skills and experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 10 years of related experience in assembly or an industrial background preferred. FAA-certificated Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) or related certification a plus. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical instructions, and safety procedures is essential.

You should possess the ability to follow directions meticulously, inspect your own work, and effectively use basic hand tools while working with small parts. Strong mathematical skills are necessary, enabling you to compute rates and create bar graphs accurately. Additionally, good reasoning ability is crucial for handling instructions in various forms and solving problems with concrete variables.

A collaborative spirit and effective communication skills in English will help you succeed in this team-oriented work environment, where attention to detail and safety are paramount.
