    Job Description:

    At Regions, the Trade Finance Specialist will process standby letters of credit, commercial letters of credit, documentary collections, shared national credits, participations, funds, and pay off loans to clients under EX-IM bank working capital guarantee and other insured loan products according to industry standards and publications that governs said products.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Ensures client needs are met and/or exceeded within established service level agreement

    + Issues, amends, and pays standby letters of credit, commercial letters of credit, and documentary collections according to industry standards

    + Processes loan requests and monitors borrowing bases under working capital guarantees and EX-IM bank policies within defined coverages

    + Process any credits returned for cancellation

    + Ensures policies regarding regulatory, credit, and operational risk mitigation is adhered to

     

    This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

    Requirements

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Three (3) years of banking experience

    Preferences

    + Bachelor's degree

    Skills and Competencies

    + Ability to work under pressure

    + Detail oriented with strong emphasis on producing an accurate and professional product

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc)

    + Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

    Compensation Details

     

    Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

     

    The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

    $55,167.00 USD

    Incentive Pay Plans:
