JOB SUMMARY
Provides ongoing quality assurance (QA) testing by statically sampling the work performed by Truist teammates and/or third party vendor(s). Responsible for continuous improvement mindset in quality and productivity resulting in increased efficiency and consistency, risk/loss mitigation, maximized profitability, and an improved internal and external client experience. The mission of QPM is to be a leader for quality assurance and standardization with focus on accountability, documentation, and monitoring for Commercial Credit Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review commercial loan documentation, corresponding due diligence, and/or systems for accuracy based on internal and external regulations, policies, and procedures
2. Proactively identify, assess, and communicate inherent risks identified via QA testing to management for review, discussion, and remediation
3. Complete QA testing and deliver results within established timeframes
4. Identify and report trends, gaps, and training needs to strengthen risk management within the areas supported
5. Work closely and collaboratively with testing partners and deliver results in a positive manner
6. Effectively monitor and control data integrity of information utilized for internal and external reporting
7. Identify emerging regulatory and compliance risks by staying abreast of policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and risk management techniques
8. Communicate and potentially train testing partners on recurring errors, policies, and process expectations
9. Consistently seek and provide recommendations for improved efficiency, cost reduction, and/or enhanced standardization and routinely volunteer and participate in special projects or initiatives
10. Accurately completes QA testing on exceptionally complex commercial loans
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. College degree or equivalent education, training, and/or work-related experience
2. Minimum of ten (10) years overall banking experience with seven (7) years commercial lending experience with knowledge including but not limited to: consulting, commercial products, specialty lending, appraisals, regulatory and compliance, servicing, due diligence, documentation, funding and reconciliations, audit, risk, quality, etc.
3. Minimum of four (4) years quality assurance testing experience
4. Existing knowledge of financial and/or loan processing systems
5. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work proactively and operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with variable deadlines
7. Ability to determine root cause of recurring problems and provide recommendations for solution
8. Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
10. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

1. Bachelor's degree in business related field
