The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with strong Scrum Master experience to lead Agile teams in delivering high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex software or digital projects, guiding Agile ceremonies, and using tools such as JIRA to track progress and deliver value. You will act as both a servant leader and project coordinator, ensuring your team delivers quality work on time and within scope for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Aviation Safety.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
+ Lead Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
+ Manage the full project lifecycle from planning through execution and delivery
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, product, and stakeholders
+ Remove blockers and foster a culture of continuous improvement
+ Maintain project plans, timelines, and risk logs using JIRA and Confluence
+ Track sprint velocity, burndown, and other KPIs to support data-driven decision-making
+ Align project goals with business priorities and communicate status to leadership
+ Creates project briefings and prepares project deliverables, facilitates internal and external reviews.
+ Provide status and monthly reports regarding the tracking and delivery of project deliverables.
+ Responsible for the administration, planning, scheduling, communications, issue resolution, deliverables, and delivery of assigned projects.
+ Serves as primary point of contact to the customers to ensure client-satisfaction regarding project goals and objectives.
+ Interacts with customers on project requirements, timelines, project status, deliverables, etc. Collaborates with the program manager on escalation and resolution of customer issues.
+ Ensures quality of team's work and on-time completion.
+ Represents project team in cross-organizational workgroups, communities of practice, project teams, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in an Agile environment
+ Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) strongly preferred
+ Proficient in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
+ Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and other project tracking tools
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
+ Superior oral and written communications skills, capable of translating and presenting complex technical and project management concepts to management and customers.
+ Demonstrated ability to rapidly build and sustain strong customer relationships through superior delivery and bringing innovative thinking.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance, must be a US Citizen with the last 3 years spent in the US
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
+ Training/certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, DevOps, DevSecOps)
+ Previous consulting experience or experience supporting software development projects and customers
+ Interest in and passion for solving complex problems

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
